Includes a typescript of "Buried Alive: A Diary" written by Mina Gluecksmann Perlberger in 1984. "Buried Alive ..." describes Perlbergers experiences as a young Polish Jew in hiding during the Holocaust. Also includes a compilation of eight poems by Perlberger relating to her Holocaust experiences and a list of family members deported and/or murdered during the Holocaust.

Mina Gluecksmann Perlberger was born a Hasidic Jew in Tyczyn, Poland. Her plans to become an artist and poet ended with the advent of World War II. She met and married her husband, Alexander Perlberger, in Rzeszow, Poland. She emigrated to the United States with her husband and infant son in 1949.
